Who are these “Prepper” folks? We are your neighbors and friends. We are folks that have come together to share information, learn skills and to assist and support each other in our commitment to become self-reliant. We have made a personal commitment to become prepared in the event a  disaster strike near our home.

We are an autonomous grass roots group. We are not affiliated with any national organization or political party. Our goal is to become self-reliant and to be prepared to survive in case of a catastrophic event. It is our mission to share information, and promote ongoing education.

We support the Constitution of the United States of America and principles of the founders of our Republic. We are self-supporting through our own contributions.

All meetings and events are open and the public is cordially invited to attend.

At the beginning of each meeting we stand, pray and pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.

In 1945, shortly after WW II when our Nation had won a decisive victory over Imperial Japan and the Socialist Axis powers in Europe, at the urging of President Dwight D. Eisenhower the Congress legislated that “under God” be added, making the pledge read: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

We stand, remove out hats and place our hand over our hearts, face the Colors, and repeat the pledge of Allegiance at the start of each meeting but do we take a moment to reflect on the meaning behind the verse we are reciting?

I pledge (vow, word of honor)Allegiance (loyalty, duty, commitment)to the Flag (the banner for our country) and to the Republic (our original form of government)for which it stands (remains, represents) one Nation under God (affirms our belief that our founders were divinely  inspired), indivisible, ( Undividable) with liberty (independence, freedom, self-reliance)and justice (fairness, impartiality) for all, (without regard for race, religion, gender or ethnicity .

The pledge embodies our commitment to the dreams of our Founding Fathers who proclaimed our Life, our Liberty and our ability to gain property is a gift from our Creator.

Be Prepared: Pray for the best, but Prepare for the worst.
